Student Pick up & Drop off

STUDENT PICK UP AND DROP OFF

Houserville/Lemont Parents and Guardians -

This is just a friendly reminder for those of you who personally bring your children to school - drop off is from 7:55 - 8:09 AM  and pick up is from 3:00 - 3:07 PM.  Also, please remember the loop is one way (enter the loop on the school side).  Safety is of the utmost importance for all of us and our children.  Thank you for staying in the car lane and waiting for the crossing guards to escort your children.  Buses initially have the right away and the guards let them unload first, then escort children through the crosswalk.  The speed limit is 5 m.p.h. the whole way through the loop and then only 15 m.p.h. until you leave the school zone.  You can also choose to pull into the overflow parking area and drop your children off who then can walk into the school on the sidewalk as an option.  If you do this, please still be mindful of your speed.

Thank you so much for being aware of speed, the car and bus lane, and our crossing guards for the safety of the children.  All of us being mindful of these things will continue to provide a safe drop-off and pick-up area.  If you have any questions, please call the office.
